Question 1

What is the minimum order quantity for a custom city commuter e-bike?

Accepted Answer

It depends on how far your specification moves from the stock build. Standard-specification JB-TDB29 units can start small from European stock — mixed orders, or even single-unit drop shipments — while full customisation with frame colour, decals, display branding and bespoke packaging starts at a higher volume. Tell us your target quantity and we will confirm the threshold for your configuration.

Question 2

Can the JB-TDB29 carry our own brand?

Accepted Answer

Yes. White-label is how we normally work: your brand goes on the frame decals, the display start-up screen, the saddle, the user manual and the shipping carton.

Question 3

Does the step-through frame limit who can ride it?

Accepted Answer

The opposite. The low stand-over height suits riders from 155 cm upward and removes the mount-and-dismount problem for riders in work clothes, skirts or fitted clothing. For dealers it means one frame covers a wider share of walk-in customers, and for rental fleets it means any rider can take any bike.

Question 4

Why a Shimano 8-speed chain drive rather than a belt?

Accepted Answer

A wide-range 8-speed chain drive gives riders a lower gear for loaded climbs and district-road hills, and every workshop in Europe already stocks the parts. A belt is the right answer for riders who never want to touch the drivetrain; a derailleur is the right answer when your market has real gradients. We build both, and we will tell you which fits your terrain.

Question 5

How does the bike cope with rough or unpaved shortcuts?

Accepted Answer

The 27.5" × 2.4" Kenda puncture-resistant tires carry more air volume than a narrow city tire, so they absorb broken asphalt, cobblestones and gravel without beating up the rider. The hydraulic fork can be locked out on smooth tarmac and opened on rough sections, giving dealers one model that sells into both town and outskirts.

Question 6

What range can we put on our own spec sheet?

Accepted Answer

Measured on a full charge, flat road, with an 80 kg rider: 70 km at assist level 5 and up to 150 km at level 1. Your figures will vary with rider weight, terrain, tyre pressure and temperature, so we supply the test conditions alongside the numbers.

Question 7

Which certifications and documents do you provide?

Accepted Answer

Programmes are delivered with EN15194 certification and ISO9001 quality-system documentation, together with the technical files, test reports and conformity documents required for EU market entry.

Question 8

Can assembly be moved to Europe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Orders can be assembled at our Poland facility, which helps reduce exposure to EU anti-dumping duties on China-built e-bikes and shortens the route into European distribution. Standard-specification units are held there as well, so you are not tied to a production slot to get bikes on the floor.
